We offer a small range of services from free shell accounts to customized payed accounts which you can use for any educational purpose or run your own web page, blog, web application server, host your own domain, development of web applications, java applications, etc. This service started in 2007 and since then we offered outstanding stability, security and speed. As we are a free service, we rely a lot on public donations to keep the service, server and connection up and running 24/7.
Our mission from the start of this services was and is to offer a 99.99% uptime, even if most of our products are free of charge.
Since 2007 we change a lot of things to our web site, server and general setup and at this moment, visualserver.org runs a powerful Intel Pentium D at 3.2Ghz, with 4GB of memory and a 30MBit line. The system is backup with a UPS Power Supply and an additional server for backup and load balancing. The main system initially was setup with CentOS 4, but in time as the users need it and required more and newer applications, we move from CentOS to Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.
As an introduction to what we offer, we would recommend you to check out our Services page and if, or when you decided on what account will suite you the best please check out Sign Up page and fill in the required information. The account creation system is manual, as we like to first see if the information given by you is real and also that there is a good reason for using our server. We do not accept users that wanna use our system to run psybnc or any type of IRC bnc's and robots, torrent proxy or any kind of SSH tunneling, TeamSpeak server and so on.
Again, thank you for visiting visualserver.org and we hope that our products are appealing for you and we can be of service in any way possible. For any questions, remarks, ideas or problems, do not hesitate to contact us.
